The Four Seasons Hotel Seoul is looking for a Housekeeping Coordinator who shares a passion for excellence and who infuse enthusiasm into everything they do. This position reports to the Housekeeping Supervisor
 

Education

A university degree or equivalent experience required

Expereience

• Minimum of 1year prior experience in a housekeeping coordinator role required in hospitality, service or luxury industry

Qualifications and Skills

• Reading, writing and oral proficiency in the Korean and English.
• Knowledge of basic computer skills (e.g. MS Word, Excel) and Opera System.
• Pleasant and caring attitude towards guests and staff.
• Work independently with limited supervision.
• Good administrative skills.
• Display self-control and empathy in challenging interactions and offer a suitable alternative/resolution.

Eligibility

 

• Have strong communication skills to facilitate smooth communication with 3rd party companies.
• Strong stress management skills and multitasking abilities.
• Works harmoniously and professionally with co-workers and supervisors.

 

Key Functions

• Manages and control employee uniform including inventory, condition checks, purchase order and communication with other departments.
• Schedules work to be done daily, collects room and floor status sheets for assigned work areas.
• Monitors each Room Attendant’s daily progress. Inspects completed rooms to assure that all standards have been met.
• Resolves customer complaints, handling all guest interactions with the highest level of hospitality and professionalism, accommodating special requests whenever possible.  Responds to all guest requests in an accurate and timely manner. Interaction with guest will be in person and by phone.
• Manages the overall cleanliness of the Hotel, both guestrooms and public. 
• Takes action in all matters related to the safety, security, satisfaction and well-being of hotel guests and employees. Responds swiftly and effectively in any hotel emergency or safety situation.
• Order guest supplies through system and manage inventory.
• Handles Lost & Found procedures, ensure proper records and handover to Security.
• Answers telephones and communicate with guests and employees alike.
• Properly uses the telephone and Hotsos system to record and relays all requests and information handled through the relative department, including all message taking.
• Utilizes the computer system as it relates to Housekeeping.
• Follows up on all “Queue” rooms, status checks and other information required by Front Office.
• The willingness to be involved in training offered by the hotel.
• Follows the Hotel Policies and Procedures in relation to OSHA and Injury Management.
• Keeps the surrounding public area clean of any materials.
• Shows good guest relations (greeting guests, handling guest complaints, and offering any assistance possible, etc)
• Performs other Housekeeping duties as required by the department

Visa Requirements

• Must already possess valid work authorization in South Korea.
