Description

This position is responsible for the design, management, documentation, programming, and testing of company equipment, including panel cabinets and related control systems. This is primarily an in-office role with occasional travel averaging 5-10 days per month. Approximately 80% of this is local, and 20% is overnight. Responsibilities include equipment design, hands-on testing and production support, programming, troubleshooting, overseeing installations, and providing customer training and demonstrations as needed.
This is a Direct Hire position required to be fully On-Site.
Qualifications:
- 2+ years of experience in industrial equipment
- Experience designing panels utilizing AutoCAD or EPLAN
- Strong client communication and collaboration skills
- Ability to read and develop project plans and technical drawings
- Ability to work 40-50 hours per week and travel to customer sites
Pluses:
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical or mechanical engineering (preferred, not required)
- Experience programming Siemens control systems from scratch
- Experience with Allen-Bradley and Schneider Electric systems
- Familiarity with EPLAN is a plus but not required (training will be provided)
