The Team: Our Technology Governance & Delivery Enablement team at S&P Dow Jones Indices is responsible for establishing effective portfolio planning and execution patterns in order to drive operational excellence and fostering a culture of collaboration through lean portfolio management and enabling agile ways of working. As a member of our team, you will play a pivotal role in accelerating our technology delivery leveraging agile and lean principles.

This person will play a pivotal role in guiding the teams to adopt Agile practices and methodologies starting with mindset shift to deliver prioritized business value. This person will be responsible to facilitate one to two Scrum teams with focus on team dynamics, continuous learning and agile maturity across teams and ART(s). This person will be responsible for removing any impediments to help the teams achieve their iteration/sprint goals and PI objectives. Will work closely with the Product Manager, Product Owner, Tech leads, UI/UX, security, QE leads and other team members to make sure the product/solution/platform development meets the business needs, aligns with product roadmap and prioritization.

Responsibilities:
Coach teams on Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe, and built-in quality practices.
Facilitate Agile ceremonies including planning, stand-ups, reviews, retrospectives, and PI planning.
Remove impediments, manage dependencies, and improve team flow using Agile metrics.
Drive continuous improvement, self-organization, decision-making, and conflict resolution.
Coordinate with Scrum teams, ARTs, RTEs, Product Owners, Product Managers, and technical leads to ensure delivery alignment.
Maintain clear, prioritized backlogs aligned to business goals.
Support Agile dashboards, transparency, and adoption of AI/GenAI practices.
What we are looking for:
12–15+ years of industry experience, including 5–6 years as a Scrum Master across product teams.
Experience working in SAFe, value streams, and Agile Release Trains.
Strong facilitation, conflict resolution, stakeholder management, and continuous improvement skills.
Proven ability to improve Agile execution, delivery predictability, quality, and business value.
Expertise in Agile metrics, Kanban practices, lean portfolio management, and enterprise software delivery lifecycle.
Hands-on experience with tools such as Azure DevOps, Confluence, Power BI, MS Teams, SharePoint, JIRA, or VersionOne.
Exposure to AI capabilities in Scrum and SAFe practices.
Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, business management, information technology, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
Financial industry experience preferred.
SAFe Scrum Master 6.0 certification required; SASM, PSM, CSM, APM, or CTC certifications are a plus.
Prior Agile Coach experience and familiarity with BDD, ATDD, TDD, CI/CD, pair programming, automation, and Kaizen preferred.
Overall Characteristics:
Assertive, industry-aware, and confident in guiding teams on Agile/Scrum principles and SAFe practices.
Comfortable using AI to improve productivity, decision-making, and team/product outcomes.
