Role Summary
MCM is seeking a Process Innovation Lead, AI & Workflow Transformation to drive workflow transformation across critical business processes and operational functions within a global retail organization.
This role serves as a business process architect at the intersection of process innovation, AI enablement, and business transformation. The successful candidate will diagnose operational challenges, redesign business workflows, evaluate emerging AI and automation capabilities, and translate business needs into requirements to be executed by technical delivery teams. This role is in-office five days per week. Salary Description $120,000 - $160,000 per year.
Responsibilities
- Identify operational challenges and workflow improvement opportunities across business functions
- Redesign processes to improve decision-making, efficiency, visibility, and scalability
- Evaluate AI, automation, and technology solutions against business needs
- Translate business requirements into actionable deliverables for implementation teams
- Build business cases and ROI models to support prioritization and investment decisions
- Partner with business stakeholders and delivery teams to ensure successful execution
- Continuously assess how AI and workflow innovation can improve business operations
- Take a practical approach to solving unfamiliar problems
Qualifications
- 7+ years of professional experience, including at least 5 years in process innovation, product management, business process consulting, digital transformation, agile transformation, or related disciplines
- Experience leading corporate-scale transformation initiatives from problem definition through successful delivery
- Working knowledge of complex cross-functional business processes and operational workflows within retail or other consumer-facing industries
- Practical experience applying AI, automation, or workflow technologies to solve business problems
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Experience working across global and cross-functional organizations
AI & Automation Experience
Candidates should demonstrate practical experience applying modern AI and automation technologies in business environments, including:
- Experience with low-code/no-code platforms, workflow automation tools, AI-enabled business processes, or related technologies
- Ability to evaluate where AI creates business value and where process, governance, data, or systems improvements are more appropriate
Preferred
- Experience in retail, luxury fashion, consumer products, or other inventory-intensive industries
- Experience with PLM, ERP, merchandising, supply chain, or other enterprise platforms
