Now Hiring: Registered Nurse (RN) – Full-Time NOC Shift
Rossmoor Post Acute is seeking a compassionate, dependable, and clinically skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our dedicated nursing team on the NOC shift. Position: Registered Nurse (RN)
Employment Type: Full-Time
Shift: NOC Shift
Schedule: 4 Days On / 2 Days Off
Pay Rate: $48.00–$55.00 per hour, based on experience
Position Summary
The RN will provide professional nursing care to residents while ensuring their safety, comfort, and overall well-being. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical judgment, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work effectively during the overnight shift.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Provide direct nursing care to residents in accordance with individualized care plans.
Assess residents' conditions and promptly identify changes in health status.
Administer medications and treatments safely and accurately.
Monitor vital signs and document resident care and progress.
Respond appropriately to resident needs, emergencies, and changes in condition.
Communicate effectively with physicians, residents, families, and interdisciplinary team members.
Supervise and provide direction to CNAs and other nursing staff as appropriate.
Ensure accurate and timely completion of nursing documentation.
Participate in care planning and contribute to quality resident outcomes.
Follow all facility policies, procedures, and applicable state and federal regulations.
Maintain a safe, clean, and supportive environment for residents.
Perform other nursing duties as assigned.
Qualifications
Current and active California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing.
Previous skilled nursing, long-term care, or post-acute experience preferred.
Strong clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to work independently and effectively as part of a team.
Reliable, compassionate, professional, and resident-focused.
Current CPR certification preferred.
