Dental Assistant I (Sea Mar Community Health Centers)

Sea Mar is seeking a skilled Dental Assistant to support dental providers and deliver quality patient care. This role includes chairside assistance, patient education, infection control, and supporting clinic operations.

Key Responsibilities

· Provide chairside assistance using four-handed dentistry across multiple procedures

· Escort and greet patients; ensure patient comfort and confidentiality

· Assist with patient charting, vitals, and dental documentation in Dentrix/Allscripts

· Maintain sterilization and infection control standards

· Support scheduling, inventory, supply ordering, and quality improvement activities

· Train new staff and assist with competency testing and ongoing education

Qualifications

· Completion of a formal Dental Assistant program or 1+ year experience

· Washington State DOH Dental Assistant Registration required

· BLS CPR required within 90 days of hire

· Strong infection control and patient communication skills

· Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
