Lead Analytics Consultant

About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Lead Analytics Consultant.

Wells Fargo is back in the office, collaborating for fabulous outcomes!

This role is in the office three days a week and work from home two days a week.

In this role, you will:

• Partner with business and technology stakeholders to identify reporting, analytics, automation, and operational improvement opportunities.
• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Translate complex business challenges into scalable reporting, analytics, automation, and AI-enabled solutions.
• Design and deliver executive dashboards, performance metrics, scorecards, and business insights.
• Establish KPI frameworks, metric definitions, reporting standards, and data governance practices.
• Analyze business, portfolio, delivery, workforce, and operational data to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Provide actionable recommendations that support strategic and operational decision-making.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Scrum Masters, Technology Leaders, and delivery teams to prioritize and implement solutions.
• Lead reporting and analytics initiatives through requirements gathering, testing, deployment, and continuous improvement activities.
• Support the modernization of reporting processes through automation, centralized reporting, and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Evaluate and support AI-enabled analytics solutions that improve productivity, insight generation, and business outcomes.
• Serve as a trusted advisor to leadership by delivering data-driven insights and recommendations.

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in Business Systems Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Technology Consulting, Product Delivery, or related experience.
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements.
• Experience developing reporting, analytics, dashboards, or business intelligence solutions.
• Experience partnering with business and technology stakeholders to deliver technology-driven solutions.
• 3+ years of experience designing and delivering executive reporting, dashboards, KPI frameworks, scorecards, and analytics solutions.
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, Microsoft Fabric, or similar analytics and reporting platforms.
• Experience with SQL, data modeling, data transformation, and business intelligence solutions.
• Experience with Jira, Confluence, ServiceNow, SharePoint, or similar enterprise collaboration and delivery platforms.
• Experience implementing automation, AI, or advanced analytics solutions.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
• Experience translating complex data into meaningful business insights and recommendations.
• Experience supporting Agile delivery methodologies and working within cross-functional teams.
• Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and stakeholder management skills.

Desired Qualifications

• Experience supporting executive reporting, portfolio management, workforce analytics, or operational reporting.
• Knowledge of data governance, reporting standards, and data quality practices.
• Experience supporting cloud-based analytics and reporting environments.
• Experience developing KPI frameworks, reporting standards, and executive scorecards.
• Experience with semantic modeling, governed datasets, and self-service analytics capabilities.
• Experience supporting generative AI use cases, AI-enabled reporting, or natural-language analytics solutions.
• Relevant certifications in Business Intelligence, Data Analytics, Microsoft Power Platform, Microsoft Fabric, Azure, or related technologies.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Computer Science, Engineering, Analytics, or a related field.
