End User Support Technician

We have an exciting opportunity for an End User Support Technician to join our IT Team here at Harrods. The End User support Technician reports into the End User Team Leader.

About the Role

This provides technical support to users across all functions of the Harrods business (including Retail, Distribution and Corporate). This involves supporting a comprehensive set of hardware, software and devices so that the team are a one stop shop for all end user support.

Job Responsibilities;

• Provide technology support and expert technical advice to 4000+ users across the business
• Oversee the repair of equipment through utilisation of internal resources and 3rd party suppliers
• Build and maintain strong relationships across both IT and the wider business
• Proactive engagement with Service Management teams to ensure effective representation of Front Office support within governance and procedures

About You

The ideal candidate will have excellent technical knowledge of installation, configuration, administration and troubleshooting end user devices, including Windows (10), MAC OS, Desktop, Laptop, Tablet, VDI, thin client, as well as excellent working knowledge of Office 365, MS Teams & Adobe Creative Cloud.

It is important that you have awareness of software licensing and end user security technologies including antivirus and encryption. We are looking for someone who has previous experiencing in working within active Directory administration, Microsoft office suite troubleshooting skills and printer configuration.
