JOB TITLE: Web Application Administrator – Top Secret Required

GOVERNMENT AGENCY: DOJ NSD – National Security Division

POSITION INFORMATION: Full-Time Position; Government contractor supporting DOJ NSD

LOCATION: Employee must work onsite in Washington, DC

POSITION TIMING: Position requires candidate to obtain SCI prior to starting; can take 2-4+ weeks to process

The mission of the National Security Division (NSD) is to carry out the Department's highest priority: to combat terrorism and other threats to national security. The Infrastructure Support and Software Development Services division provides all IT services necessary to support the NSD's Infrastructure & Operations as well as Software Development, Engineering, and Service Desk.

Responsibilities

• Provide sustainment support at the web application tier.
• Proficiency in installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and hardening of mid tier tools such as Apache TomCat, JBOSS, Oracle and administration of on premise Sharepoint Server.
• Supports development teams to configure development environments and tune web application stacks.
• Develops, maintains, improves, and automates processes for operations and deployments.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of Web Adminitration and/or Development experience
• Proficiency in installation, configuration, patching, upgrades, and hardening of mid tier tools including Apache TomCat and Oracle (Oracle Rest Data Services (ORDS), Oracle APEX access, REST APIs for databases, Oracle Database 19c)
• Administration of on premise Sharepoint Server, strongly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree required; advanced degree, preferred
• Active Top Secret, required.

WORK ENVIRONMENT AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Candidate must be able to function in general office environment.
