Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Data Scientist to join our team. As a Data Scientist, you will be responsible for designing and implementing complex analytical solutions to support business decisions. You will work closely with stakeholders to understand business requirements, identify opportunities for data-driven insights, and develop and execute data models and analyses. The ideal candidate will have advanced technical skills in statistical analysis, machine learning, and data visualization, as well as strong business acumen and communication skills. Key Accountabilities
•Work closely with stakeholders to identify business needs and opportunities for data-driven insights
•Extract, clean, and analyze complex datasets using statistical techniques and data manipulation tools.
•Develop and execute complex statistical models and machine learning algorithms to extract insights and drive business decisions
•Design and implement data visualizations to effectively communicate insights to stakeholders
•Support the presentation of findings and insights through clear and concise data visualizations, charts, and reports.
•Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and reliability
•Develop and maintain data pipelines and databases
•Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in data science and apply them to business problems
•Document methodologies, processes, and findings to enable knowledge sharing and future reference.
Education, Experience, & Skill Requirements
•Master's or Ph.D. degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or related field
•1-3 years of experience in data science or related field
•Proficiency in statistical analysis, ML Ops, and data visualization
•Familiarity with databases (e.g. Snowflake, Hadoop, Oracle etc) and dashboarding tools (e.g. PowerBI, Tableau, Grafana)
•Comfortable understanding, developing, and maintaining a large codebase (Python, SAS, R)
Key Metrics
•Strong communication skills and ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders
•Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
