Quality Inspector Position Overview:
The QAQC Inspector is responsible for overseeing daily quality control operations across multiple production areas,
ensuring compliance with internal standards and customer expectations. This role serves as a key point of contact for site-related
issues, supports inspection activities, and contributes to continuous improvement initiatives within the
organization.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
Quality Control Oversight:
- Supervise daily QAQC activities in Assembly, Powder Coating, Shipping/Receiving, and Vendor Finished goods.
- Ensure proper execution of in-process and final inspections.
- Input inspection results into internal and bridged systems.
- Participate in inspection rotations to support operations.
Customer & Site Issue Resolution:
- Act as the primary contact for customer-reported issues.
- Monitor incoming customer feedback and respond promptly to site needs.
- Coordinate material procurement and vendor requirements with internal teams.
- Collaborate with Project Managers for installation-related support.
- Escalate recurring issues or trends to the QAQC Program Manager.
- Manage inspections within applicable jurisdictions.
- Establish criteria and perform calibrations on measurement tools.
Non-Conformance & Corrective Actions:
o Investigate non-conformances in collaboration with the QAQC team.
o Support implementation of corrective actions to enhance product quality.
Documentation & Standards:
o Assist in generating and maintaining documentation aligned with ISO 9001 standards.
o Define quality standards and ensure document control.
Team & Communication Support:
o Support production teams in meeting quality targets.
o Communicate effectively with internal teams and external customers.
Minimum Requirements
• Strong organizational and critical thinking skills.
• Adaptability in a dynamic production environment.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Experience in quality control, inspection, and ISO 9001 documentation preferred.
• Strong attendance history
