Role Summary
Our mission at HubSpot is to help millions of organizations grow better. HubSpot Media is a fast-growing digital media business reaching more than 70 million people monthly through newsletters, podcasts, and YouTube channels. As Senior Marketer, Paid Ads, you'll own paid media across HubSpot Media and broader full-funnel campaigns, connecting investment decisions to subscriber growth, qualified pipeline, and revenue. You'll directly plan, buy, optimize, and measure campaigns while partnering across teams to turn performance insights into business outcomes.
What You'll Do
- Own paid media strategy, planning, budget allocation, optimization, and performance across HubSpot Media properties and broader full-funnel campaigns.
- Drive subscriber, lead, pipeline, and revenue growth by connecting paid media investments to measurable downstream business outcomes.
- Plan, execute, and optimize self-serve campaigns across paid social, paid search, influencer, newsletter, podcast, review site, and emerging paid channels.
- Lead paid media strategy for product launches and demand generation campaigns, including audience strategy, channel orchestration, and budget allocation.
- Make real-time pacing, optimization, and budget reallocation decisions based on campaign performance and business priorities.
- Design and run experiments across creative, audiences, landing pages, offers, devices, and channel mix, documenting hypotheses, success metrics, and learnings.
- Build performance reporting that gives stakeholders clear visibility into investment efficiency, subscriber quality, pipeline, revenue, and other business outcomes.
- Partner across brand, direct response, creative, copy, video, analytics, lifecycle, GTM, and MarTech teams to improve campaign performance and apply AI and automation to accelerate analysis and optimization.
What You'll Bring
Required Qualifications
- 5+ years of hands-on paid media experience personally planning, launching, optimizing, and measuring campaigns.
- Direct experience buying and optimizing campaigns across Facebook, Google, and LinkedIn.
- Experience supporting an owned media property, publisher, subscription product, or content brand, with an understanding of both audience development and demand generation.
- Experience owning meaningful paid media budgets, including pacing, optimization, and reallocation decisions while campaigns are live.
- Ability to connect paid media performance to downstream outcomes such as subscriber quality, qualified pipeline, revenue, and ARR.
- Experience analyzing attribution and performance when data is incomplete, diagnosing tracking issues, and improving measurement processes.
- Advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets for campaign analysis, pacing models, and performance reporting.
- Clear communication skills and demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve reporting, analysis, creative research, or campaign optimization.
Nice-to-Have Qualifications
- Experience with HubSpot, Looker, or comparable analytics platforms.
- Experience with newsletter or creator acquisition using platforms such as SparkLoop, Beehiiv, Kit, or similar tools.
- Background in paid media for media networks, media agencies, publishers, or subscription products.
- Experience with full-funnel incrementality testing, geo holdouts, or platform lift studies.

Pay & Benefits
The cash compensation below includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot’s bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot’s equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay.
