Description
The FarEye Coordinator is responsible for supporting the successful implementation, maintenance, and ongoing optimization of the FarEye Transportation Management System (TMS). This position serves as a key liaison between Operations, Customer Service, Dispatch, Warehouse personnel, and the FarEye support team to ensure the system functions efficiently and supports daily business operations. The FarEye Coordinator will troubleshoot system issues, monitor route execution, route planning, and provide operational support to improve customer service and overall transportation performance.
Requirements
Key Responsibilities
- Assist with all phases of the FarEye implementation and ongoing system enhancements.
- Monitor and troubleshoot FarEye system issues, identifying root causes and coordinating resolutions with internal teams and FarEye technical support.
- Assemble and prepare delivery routes for next-day operations using the FarEye platform.
- Monitor route execution throughout the day and track driver progress to ensure timely deliveries and operational efficiency.
- Work closely with Customer Service, Dispatch, Warehouse, and Operations teams to locate freight, resolve delivery issues, and support customer inquiries.
- Assist in researching and resolving Over, Short, and Damaged (OS&D) claims by utilizing system data and coordinating with the appropriate departments.
- Serve as the primary point of contact with the FarEye support team regarding technical issues, system bugs, enhancement requests, and user experience improvements.
- Test new system functionality and updates prior to implementation when applicable.
- Train and assist employees with proper use of the FarEye platform and provide ongoing user support.
- Monitor data accuracy within the system and assist with maintaining operational reporting.
- Document recurring issues and recommend process improvements to increase operational efficiency.
- Maintain effective communication with all departments to ensure successful execution of transportation operations.
- Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.
Qualifications and Skills
Required
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Experience in the Less-Than-Truckload (LTL) transportation and logistics industry.
- Experience with transportation management software or logistics technology platforms.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Outlook, and Word.
Preferred
- Associate's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Bachelor's degree preferred.
- Experience with software implementation, project coordination, or transportation management system (TMS) deployments.
- Experience working with FarEye or similar logistics software platforms.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to sit, stand, walk, bend, and reach throughout the workday.
- May be required to work in both office and warehouse environments.
- Must be able to occasionally lift and/or move up to 25–50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Ability to use computers and other office equipment for extended periods.
