The Future Talent Program features internships that last up to 12 weeks and will include one or more projects. These opportunities in our Research and Development Division can provide you with great development and a chance to see if we are the right company for your long-term goals.
Job Description
Join a global healthcare leader for a 10-12 week paid internship in drug discovery research within our Research and Development Division. Participate in projects within a Cardiometabolic disease team and collaborate with cross-functional teams in a research lab environment to engage in drug discovery and development activities to gain hands-on experience.
Key Responsibilities
Participate in projects within Cardiometabolic disease team.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams in a research lab environment.
Engage in drug discovery and development activities to gain hands-on experience.
Work full-time during June–August for 10-12 weeks.
Qualifications & Requirements
Current Enrollment: Currently pursuing a BS/BA, MS, or Ph.D. in a relevant field with interest or experience in drug discovery research.
Academic Standing: Completed at least two years of undergraduate studies or one year of graduate studies by the start of the internship. Must be continuing education for at least one semester after the internship.
Safety: Understanding and training in safe lab practices.
Culture: Commitment to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture.
Preferred Skills
Prior laboratory research experience in relevant techniques.
Experience in in vitro cell line culture and in vitro assay research environment.
GPA of 3.0 or higher.

Salary range:
The salary range for this role is $39,108 through $111,111.
