Revere Plastics Systems is hiring Stationary Mount Automation Operators for first, second, and third shifts in area 3.


This is a temporary-to-hire opportunity. All candidates must apply through one of our staffing agencies and successfully complete the required temporary assignment period before being considered for direct employment with Revere Plastics Systems. 


Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Load and unload part bins, including tabs, rollers, and frames, while keeping parts off the floor and away from equipment.
  • Remove finished parts from the machine or conveyor as needed.
  • Inspect parts for defects, including discoloration, cracks, warping, and incomplete molding.
  • Trim excess plastic and complete light assembly work.
  • Package finished parts in cardboard boxes and apply the appropriate labels.
  • Ensure all boxes are included under the correct master label.
  • Position boxes according to the work instructions and ensure they are properly aligned with the sensors.
  • Empty the reject bin hourly, inspect rejected material for acceptable parts, and record scrap on the IQMS defect tally sheet.
  • Enter all scrap into IQMS at the end of each shift.
  • Follow work instructions and meet established production standards.
  • Update and maintain the hourly pace board for the automation cell, including hourly production counts and explanations for any variances from the target.
  • Meet established hourly and shift production targets.
  • Operate stationary mount hand-build equipment during downtime or as needed to help the department return to its production target.
  • Maintain current RPS Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) training and properly use the company-provided lock when authorized to enter equipment to clear jams.
  • Clear routine jams involving vibrating bowls, trackwork, and conveyors.
  • Reset automation equipment as needed. Training will be provided.
  • Learn to operate the automation equipment from the PLC control panel and troubleshoot common downtime issues.
  • Learn to set up and adjust vibrating bowls to maintain production rates.
  • Read and understand English sufficiently to operate PLC controls, follow work instructions, and comply with safety requirements.
  • Contact Manufacturing Engineering by radio for assistance with issues outside the operator’s standard scope of work.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work area.
  • Keep totes, boxes, and skids out of the main aisle and within designated yellow lines.
  • Follow all safety procedures and wear required personal protective equipment.
  • Report equipment, quality, production, or safety concerns to the Production Shift Supervisor.


Requirements

Position Requirements

  • Prior manufacturing experience is preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude and basic troubleshooting skills are preferred.
  • Ability to follow written work instructions and accurately record production and quality information.
  • Ability to work flexible hours, weekends, and overtime as needed.
  • Ability to work a schedule that may currently include six to seven days per week.
  • Ability to work safely and effectively around machinery in an environment with moderate noise levels.

Physical Requirements

This position requires the ability to stand for extended periods, frequently bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout an 8- to 12-hour shift.

Positions are currently available on first, second, and third shifts.
