Our client is a well-established organization seeking a customer-focused Showroom Assistant to support showroom operations, sales, merchandising, and customer service.

Job Overview

The Showroom Assistant will assist customers, manage showroom activities, support inventory and merchandising, and contribute to achieving sales targets and customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities

• Greet customers and provide excellent customer service.
• Assist customers with product selection and provide product information.
• Process purchases and returns accurately.
• Create and update customer profile records.
• Assist with receiving, stocking, and managing inventory.
• Support showroom opening and closing activities.
• Build and maintain relationships with existing and prospective customers.
• Convert leads into sales by addressing customer concerns and guiding purchasing decisions.
• Provide ongoing support to customers and maintain long-term relationships.
• Coordinate with Marketing, Product Development, and Customer Service teams to maximize sales opportunities.
• Support sales targets and showroom performance.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Passed G.C.E. A/L.
• Part qualification in Marketing is preferred.
• Current experience in a similar showroom sales role at a reputed outlet.
• Proven track record of achieving sales targets.
• Strong communication, persuasion, and customer-handling skills.
• Ability to handle rejection and remain target-focused.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Sales and CRM software.
• Fluency in English and Sinhala/Tamil/Hindi.
