Job Summary

Seeking a highly motivated and experienced Commercial Lines Department Manager to lead and oversee the operations of Commercial Insurance Department. This role is pivotal in ensuring the department's overall performance, operational effectiveness, and client satisfaction. The ideal candidate will bring a strategic mindset, strong leadership skills, and a proven track record in managing commercial insurance accounts.

Compensation Package

• Salary Range: $80,000 - $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and direction for the Commercial Insurance Department.
• Oversee commercial service operations, including remarketing, renewals, and new business processes.
• Ensure exceptional client service and adherence to agency procedures and regulatory compliance.
• Manage and develop a team of 7+ professionals, fostering a supportive and growth-oriented culture.
• Oversee the management of the existing commercial book of business, including midsize to large accounts.
• Develop new business opportunities and ensure the successful placement and binding of commercial insurance accounts.
• Maintain quality control and ensure the department meets its operational and financial goals.

Qualifications/Requirements

• Licenses/Designations: Active 2-20 license is required.
• Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in commercial insurance, with at least 5 years in a management role.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Epic software is preferred.
• Soft Skills: Strong leadership, strategic thinking, excellent communication, team development, and problem-solving skills.
• Education: Relevant educational background in business, insurance, or a related field is preferred.
