Job Summary
The Advisor, ACT actively participates in the completion of assigned project work throughout the finance team with an emphasis on the job training, project planning and implementation and presentation to relevant audiences. The Advisor, ACT will focus on the continued development and application of the knowledge, skills and abilities developed in this rotational program.
Essential Functions
- Observes and works alongside the management and operation of functions within finance.
- Serves as an advisor to senior level leadership responsible for the operations of the hospital/entities and as an extension of the Spectrum Health Finance team. Works with Spectrum Health shared services resources to ensure that the entities have adequate financial management support to achieve their financial goals.
- Contributes to manage, plan, and organize the financial operations including revenue management, reimbursement, strategic planning, business prioritization and resource allocation, budgeting and analysis, financial and statistical reporting, benchmarking, cost accounting, controllership, and others as designated.
- Recommends appropriate measures to respond to projected economic trends and/or regulatory changes.

Required
- Bachelor's Degree or equivalent
Preferred
- Master's Degree or equivalent
