Description
The role combines day to day operational excellence with strategic transformation delivery, partnering closely with Sales & Trading, Technology, Legal, Compliance, and global Operations stakeholders. The VP is expected to lead teams, strengthen the control environment, modernize workflows through automation and digitization, and drive measurable efficiency and risk reduction outcomes. Essential Skills:
> Graduate with 12-15+ years of experience in Investment Banking Operations, preferably within Equity Derivatives.
> Strong understanding of OTC equity derivatives, confirmations, lifecycle events, and associated risk & control frameworks.
> Proven experience managing complex operations in a global, matrixed environment.
> Demonstrated ability to lead teams, manage stakeholders, and drive both BAU excellence and change initiatives.
> Strong analytical, numeracy, and problem solving skills with high attention to detail.
> Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
> Ability to think strategically while maintaining operational discipline under tight deadlines.
Desired Skills:
> Experience leading or contributing to automation, digitization, or large scale transformation programs.
> Good understanding of ISDA documentation and regulatory expectations for equity derivatives.
> Familiarity with Agile delivery models and business led technology change.
> Advanced skills in operational metrics, controls, and risk governance.
