Job Description Summary

The Senior Functions FP&A Leader, AIS will lead all forecasting, budgeting, and actuals reporting cycles, for the critical supporting functions within the segment. This role will partner heavily with the functional leaders of AIS to help effectively manage a critical cost base, accurately forecast future expenditures in light of investment decisions, and partner to support strategic planning for function budgets. This position will play a critical role in effectively shaping the functional support required to advance the strategic interests of the AIS Segment.

Job Description

Responsibilities

  • Partner with the functional leaders within the AIS Leadership Team to provide visibility into critical costs, headcount, and investment programs within their respective teams, ensuring accurate and clear reporting to support effective decision making within the parameters of the function. 

  • Strategically work with each leader to define budgets for their respective function, closely partnering to determine investment needs and other cost management needs to meet the financial goals of the Segment. 

  • Translate P&L results into actionable insights for the functional leaders and accurately forecast future expenditures relative to timing of investment decisions and other actions. 

  • Develop process to accurately track and measure critical investments within the functions, understanding performance versus business cases, and helping partner to ensure benefits on investment are realized for the Segment. 

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree (Economics, Finance, Accounting, etc.) from an accredited university or college 

  • 5+ years of experience in accounting or financial analysis and reporting 

  • Demonstrated ability to work cross functionally in a diverse team environment 

Desired Skills

  • Graduate of GEHC’s Financial Management Program (FMP); Operational Finance Development Program (OFLP); or graduate of other financial leadership programs 

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to communicate complex business issues in a clear/concise manner. 

  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence others and drive change while working across a variety of stakeholders. 

  • Adaptable, flexible. Open to change (positive or negative) in response to new information, different or unexpected circumstances, and/or to work in ambiguous situations. 

  • Strong critical thinking skills & demonstrated ability to analyze and resolve problems. 

  • Demonstrated ability to lead programs / projects. Established project management skills. Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs.

We will not sponsor individuals for employment visas, now or in the future, for this job opening. For U.S. based positions only, the pay range for this position is $140,000.00-$210,000.00 Annual. It is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the pay range and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The specific compensation offered to a candidate may be influenced by a variety of factors including skills, qualifications, experience and location. In addition, this position may also be eligible to earn performance based incentive compensation, which may include cash bonus(es) and/or long term incentives (LTI).
