Overview
The prep cook is responsible for setting up workstations and ingredients this way food can be prepared according to recipes
Responsibilities
- Prepare simple dishes such as appetizers, salads and sandwiches
- Maintain a clean and orderly kitchen by washing dishes, sanitizing surfaces, taking out trash
- Perform routine kitchen tasks such as stocking workstations and putting away food orders
- Other duties as assigned
Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent and/or experience in a hotel or related field preferred.
- At least 1 year of progressive experience in the bar industry or a related field required.
- Flexible and long hours sometimes required.
