Overview
Residential Handyman
The Residential Handyman Technician supports the Plumbing and HVAC divisions by performing general home‑repair tasks. This role restores work areas and completes light repairs.
Key Responsibilities
Service & Repair
- Perform light home‑repair tasks including drywall patching, painting, caulking, basic trim work, and minor cosmetic fixes.
- Restore areas affected by plumbing or HVAC work to a clean, finished condition.
- Address small issues discovered during plumbing/HVAC service calls (ex: loose fixtures, simple carpentry, minor leaks requiring non‑licensed repair).
Quality & Customer Experience
- Ensure customer homes are left clean, orderly, and professionally finished after trade work is completed.
- Communicate effectively with homeowners regarding completed work and additional repair recommendations.
- Support plumbers and HVAC technicians by handling tasks that do not require a licensed tradesperson.
- Document work performed accurately within company systems.
Qualifications
- Prior experience as a handyman, carpenter, painter, or similar home‑repair role.
- Excellent customer‑service and communication skills.
- Ability to identify small issues and propose practical solutions.
- Valid, clean driver’s license; ability to lift/carry standard materials and tools.
