Essential Responsibilities:
- Maintain and repair a fleet of light-duty vehicles in a safe, efficient, and production-focused environment.
- Diagnose and troubleshoot vehicle issues using advanced diagnostic tools, technical manuals, and hands-on trade expertise.
- Complete mechanical, electrical, and preventative maintenance repairs while ensuring quality workmanship and equipment reliability.
- Manage work orders, service documentation, parts requirements, and repair records through electronic maintenance systems.
- Collaborate with vendors and the maintenance team to source parts, resolve equipment issues, and support overall site operations.
Requirements:
- Journeyman Automotive Service Technician certification (Interprovincial Red Seal preferred) with strong diagnostic and repair expertise.
- Proven ability to work independently in a fast-paced shop or site environment, supported by a complete set of personal tools.
- Commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and reliable service delivery.
- Valid Class 5 driver's license and the ability to meet site access requirements, including drug and alcohol testing and OSSA BSO or CSTS certification.
- Previous experience supporting industrial, mining, or Fort McMurray site operations is considered a strong asset.
Work Conditions:
