Job Description:
(1) Valuates, selects and orders equipment that is most appropriate and cost effective for the manufacture of company products.
(2) Oversees the installation, modification, upgrade and maintenance of manufacturing equipment.
(3) Maintains current records on equipment manufacturers’ technical notices, upgrades and safety issues. Studies equipment performance and reliability.
(4) Establishes programs and solutions for increasing uptime and for equipment problems that affect the manufacturing process. Provides technical support to the manufacturing equipment repair and process engineering organizations.
(5) Defines and writes preventative maintenance schedules.
(6) Assist more junior staff members with aspects of their job
(7) Coordinate work with third parties, vendors, or trade customers
(8) Plan activities with other team members
(9) Supervision : Work is independent and collaborative in nature.
(10) Provides regular updates to manager on project/account status.
