Description
We’re reinventing payments. In less than four years, Dojo disrupted the market to become the largest and most loved acquirer in the UK. Our payments infrastructure, purpose-built for in-person commerce, is game changing.
Now, over 150,000 customers across four countries choose to transact billions with us every year. But we’re just getting started.
Our people are the driving force behind our success. They are our greatest investment and our ultimate competitive advantage. We hire exceptional people and give them the autonomy, trust, and ownership to thrive. The results take care of themselves.
The role
Dojo is looking for an HRIS Data & Reporting Specialist to join our People Operations team for a six-month contract.
We’re on a mission to improve the health of our core HR data, enabling us to implement trusted reports, dashboards and AI-enabled tools.
You will be the architect of our data integrity, conducting deep-dive audits and remediation projects across critical data categories. By refining our Workday HCM reporting ecosystem and enabling data visualisations through Workday-delivered dashboards and/or external platforms like Looker, you will empower Dojo leaders to make evidence-based people decisions with absolute confidence.
What you will do
Data Integrity & Remediation:
-
Deep-Dive Data Audits: Conduct comprehensive reviews of specific Workday HCM data categories, such as historical promotions and compensation changes, to identify and resolve gaps or discrepancies.
-
Data Cleansing: Systematically fix and fill missing data points to ensure historical records are accurate and complete.
-
Process Improvement: Evaluate current data entry workflows and establish protocols to prevent future data quality issues.
Workday Reporting & Governance:
-
Report Rationalisation: Audit our existing library of Workday HCM reports, deactivating unused versions and correcting those that generate inaccurate results.
-
Reporting Architecture: Organise and categorise our reporting suite so stakeholders can easily identify the correct tools for specific business questions.
-
Dashboard Creation: Build and maintain sophisticated Workday HCM dashboards that provide real-time visibility into key people metrics.
-
Documentation: Ensure that our key Workday HCM data fields and definitions are clearly documented to enable internal maintenance and consistency in future reporting.
Advanced Analytics & Visualization:
-
Cross-Platform Integration: Pull data from Workday HCM and other internal sources into Looker to create a unified view of our workforce data.
-
Visual Storytelling: Design and manage impactful visualizations outside of Workday that make complex datasets engaging and easy to interpret for non-technical audiences.
What you will bring
-
Workday Expertise: You hold a Workday HCM Reporting qualification and possess a deep understanding of the platform’s data structure, reporting & visualisation capabilities.
-
Technical Versatility: You are highly proficient in Looker or similar data and dashboarding platforms, with the ability to integrate multiple data sources for advanced visualisation. You are highly proficient in SQL with data modelling (DBT) experience in modern data warehouses (for example BigQuery, Redshift, Snowflake).
-
Data-Driven Rigor: You have a detail-oriented approach to data management and a proven ability to identify patterns or anomalies within large datasets.
-
Problem-Solving Mindset: You enjoy the challenge of investigating complex data discrepancies and implementing lasting resolutions.
-
Self-Directed Motivation: You are ownership-driven and comfortable managing your workload with minimal supervision to meet project milestones.
-
Clear Communication: You can translate technical data findings into clear, helpful insights for stakeholders across the business.
Dojo home and away
We believe our best work happens when we collaborate in-person. These “together days” foster communication, drive innovation and spark our brightest ideas.
That's why we have an office-first culture. This means working from the office 4+ days per week.
With offices across Europe, we know a thing or two about staying dynamic. Need deep focus? Head to a quiet zone. Big ideas? Collaboration spaces have you covered. Just here for a catch-up? Our social hubs make it easy. Do work that counts, in spaces made for you.
Question: what’s curious, relentless, and customer obsessed?
If you’re keen to know the answer, you’re a third of the way to meeting our Dojo values.
If the following speak to you, let’s talk:
You’re curious. You have a real desire to learn and create.
You’re relentless. You keep going even when it’s easier not to.
You’re customer-obsessed. You know how important customers are to what you do.
