Description

The Strategic Account Director will focus on engaging identified sites of care; COE’s - Academic / IDN’s, integrated health systems and community practices to optimize product access, adoption and business performance.  The Strategic Account Director (SAD) will develop and execute account specific strategies that support successful product launch, formulary adoption, reimbursement access, and sustained commercial growth.

Working within a matrix environment, the Strategic Account Director serves as a trusted partner to organized customers and internal stakeholders, leveraging oncology market knowledge, customer insights, business analytics, and clinical understanding to identify opportunities, remove access barriers, and drive pull-through in collaboration with local field teams. The successful candidate demonstrates strong account leadership, executive-level influence, oncology expertise, market access and reimbursement acumen, customer focus, and a proven ability to achieve business objectives in a compliant and ethical manner.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

  • Serve as one of the first commercial members of the customer-facing commercial team responsible for establishing processes, and timelines for the introduction of Inhibrx products to identified strategic oncology accounts and organized customers.
  • Develop and execute strategic account plans for assigned, COE’s - Academic / IDN’s, integrated health systems, community practices, national oncology organizations, and other key accounts.
  • Identify barriers to product access, adoption, and utilization; create and execute action plans to remove barriers and support rapid uptake.
  • Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to achieve strategic business objectives and improve account performance.
  • Integrate with local field teams to support pull-through strategies and create shared accountability for achieving objectives within assigned key accounts.
  • Effectively manage formulary and access processes through Pharmacy & Therapeutics committees, clinical influencers, and other decision-making stakeholders.
  • Plan and organize assigned territory and accounts to meet sales goals, call targets, and customer engagement objectives.
  • Maintain a professional image for Inhibrx Biosciences, Inc. and its products in all customer and stakeholder interactions.
  • Participate in required training, sales meetings, business reviews, and launch readiness activities.
  • Complete accurate and timely reporting, including call activity, account updates, timekeeping, expense reporting, and other required documentation.
  • Ensure compliance with promotional program requirements, proper use of promotional materials, and responsible management of promotional expense budgets.

Required Education and Experience

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required.
  • Advanced degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.

Required Experience

  • Minimum of 10 years of direct healthcare sales experience within the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, medical device, or healthcare industry.
  • Minimum of 5 years of oncology sales experience;  includes working with buy and bill products
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience with established relationships managing Integrated Delivery Networks (IDNs), or other organized customer accounts.
  • Demonstrated experience developing and executing strategic account plans within complex healthcare environments.
  • Experience working with formulary review processes, Pharmacy & Therapeutics committees, and clinical decision makers to support product access and adoption.
  • Experience working with reimbursement issues through collaborations with Hubs and Field Reimbursement personnel
  • Proven ability to develop and maintain relationships with executive-level healthcare stakeholders, account influencers, and decision makers.
  • Demonstrated success collaborating across Sales, Market Access, Medical Affairs, Marketing, and Operations within a matrix organization.
  • Consistent track record of meeting or exceeding sales objectives in competitive commercial environments, with evidence of awards, recognition, or other measurable achievements.

Preferred Experience

  • Oncology product launch experience that includes buy and bill products.
  • Experience working with national oncology organizations, oncology GPOs, and large health systems.
  • Experience supporting market access, reimbursement, and organized customer strategies.
  • Experience in implementing pull-through initiatives in partnership with field sales teams.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $130,500.00 - $363,500.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
