Job Summary
The Post Sales Support colleague is responsible for auditing and processing new business insurance applications after binding to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance with agency and carrier requirements. This role reviews application documentation, coordinates corrections with Insurance Advisors and Producers/Managers (PM), manages electronic and mailed application workflows, maintains records in agency systems, and supports underwriting compliance activities. Success in this role requires exceptional attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Audit new business applications for completeness, accuracy, and compliance.
Forward underwriting notices to RA/PM partners for review and action.
Send applications to clients through DocuSign and applicable carrier e-signature platforms.
Identify application errors and communicate required corrections to RA/PM teams.
Respond to application error inquiries and follow through to resolution.
Process client emails related to application completion and corrections.
Monitor application status and follow up on outstanding items.
Mail applications to clients when electronic signature options are unavailable.
Receive, scan, and attach completed applications and supporting documents to EPIC and carrier systems.
Process carrier applications through DocuSign when carrier e-signature functionality is unavailable.
Maintain accurate documentation and processing records.
Qualifications
High school diploma or equivalent required; insurance industry experience required.
Strong attention to detail with the ability to identify discrepancies, omissions, and errors in applications and supporting documentation.
Demonstrated ability to maintain a high level of accuracy while processing large volumes of work.
Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and agency management systems, such as EPIC, preferred.
Experience with DocuSign and electronic document management systems is a plus.
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
