Job Summary and Responsibilities
As our VP, Patient Care Services, you will define and execute the strategic vision for patient care system-wide, ensuring exceptional, high-quality, and compassionate care delivery. This executive role drives operational excellence, innovation, and continuous improvement.Every day you will strategically direct patient care units and services, fostering clinical excellence. Responsibilities include mentoring senior leaders, setting system-level patient safety and compliance, and optimizing work-flows for superior outcomes. You'll represent patient care at the executive level, driving key initiatives.To succeed, you need exceptional executive leadership, visionary strategic management, and profound clinical expertise. You must influence a culture of excellence, drive trans-formative improvement, and deliver organizational patient care goals, with a proven history of leading complex clinical teams and shaping change effectively.
- Reviews cost, quality, safety, utilization, and value data regularly with nursing leaders, clinical leaders, and health system executives; responsible for both the dissemination of this information and the development of interventions needed to improve value;
- Leads change activities in accordance with CommonSpirit change models;
- Develop, align, and mobilize clinical leaders to successfully achieve clinical, operational, and strategic priorities for the organization;
- Will serve as organizational and community role model for ethical management behavior and promote an awareness and understanding of ethical and moral principles that are consistent with the mission, vision, and values’
- Collaborates with other leaders to optimize quality, safety, and patient experience for the organization;
- Manage budget and fiscal responsibility to ensure positive and consistent alignment of balancing patient needs, outcomes, and compliance and safety with productivity guidelines;
Job Requirements
Required
- Masters Other or POST GRADUATE DEGREE
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in the discipline or 5 years of leadership experience;
- Registered Nurse: ND, upon hire
- Basic Life Support - CPR, upon hire
Preferred
- Critical Access leadership experience
