Job Description & Summary

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage end-to-end SAP implementation, upgrade, and optimization projects across multiple business units.
• Develop SAP strategies that align with overall corporate goals and promote operational excellence.
• Collaborate with business leaders and stakeholders to identify opportunities for process improvement and system integration.
• Oversee SAP system architecture, configuration, customization, and troubleshooting.
• Manage cross-functional teams, including SAP consultants, developers, and business analysts.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and global standards.
• Serve as the primary liaison between Japanese and international teams, ensuring clear and effective communication.
• Monitor project progress, budgets, risks, and deliverables, ensuring timely and successful completion.
• Mentor and develop SAP team members to build a high-performance organization.
• Stay updated with the latest SAP technologies and industry trends to recommend innovative solutions.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 13 years of professional experience in SAP roles, including at least 5 years in a managerial or leadership position.
• Proven track record in managing large-scale SAP implementations and transformations.
• Deep knowledge of SAP modules such as FI/CO, MM, SD, PP, and/or HCM.
• Fluent in Japanese and English with excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Strong project management skills with experience in Agile and Waterfall methodologies.
• Ability to manage multicultural and cross-geographical teams.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field. Advanced degree or SAP certification is a plus.
• Exceptional problem-solving, decision-making, and stakeholder management skills.
