Duties & Responsibilities

• Ensure timely availability of materials to support production requirements and prevent supply disruptions.
• Manage material shortages through effective coordination with suppliers and internal stakeholders.
• Proactively identify supply risks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of operations.
• Monitor and optimize inventory levels to support production build plans while ensuring on-time delivery to customers.
• Collaborate closely with procurement, warehouse, production, and logistics teams to ensure smooth material flow.
• Track and analyze material requirements, forecast demand, and maintain accurate planning data in the ERP/MRP system.
• Prepare and maintain planning reports, inventory analysis, and material status updates for management review.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control, material planning, and supply chain efficiency.

Education

• Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Professional certifications such as APICS CPIM or CSCP will be an added advantage.
• Candidates with a Diploma and relevant working experience may also be considered.

Working Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of experience in material planning, supply chain, inventory management, or related functions within a manufacturing environment.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

• Strong understanding of material planning, MRP/ERP systems, and inventory control principles.
• Good analytical and problem-solving skills to manage shortages, risks, and supply constraints effectively.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and coordination skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel and data analysis for planning, reporting, and inventory monitoring.
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
• Able to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
