Job Description Summary
The Services Refurbishment Sourcing Team Leader will lead all sourcing and supplier management activities for the Aeroderivative Refurbishment business. You will be accountable for the successful execution of 20–30 Aeroderivative gas turbine package refurbishments annually. By providing strategic sourcing leadership, you will oversee supplier selection, contract management, supplier development, and parts availability throughout the entire project lifecycle.Reporting to a global team of 3–4 employees (including internal and contracted resources), you will ensure the integrity of the sourcing value stream, maintaining budget adherence, operational excellence, and strict compliance. This role is a key driver for GE Vernova’s Operational Plan (OP) and Strategic Improvement Initiatives (SII).
Job Description
Key Responsibilities
Leadership & Performance Management
- Lead and mentor a global team, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
- Monitor KPIs related to on-time delivery (OTD), cost-out, supplier quality, and budget variance.
- Conduct performance reviews and support individual development plans aligned with business goals.
Value Stream & Strategy
- Own the sourcing value stream for Aeroderivative refurbishment, ensuring standard work and process discipline.
- Develop sourcing strategies that optimize capacity planning and material availability for 20–30 annual refurbishment projects.
- Apply Lean and Kaizen methodologies to drive operational efficiency across the supply chain.
Supplier Management & Execution
- Lead end-to-end sourcing processes, including RFQs, commercial negotiations, contracting, and supplier onboarding.
- Develop strategic partnerships to enhance supplier capability, quality, and lead times.
- Identify and qualify new suppliers to mitigate risk and support business growth.
- Partner with Quality, Engineering, and Fulfillment teams to ensure supplier performance aligns with business requirements.
Financial & Compliance Excellence
- Manage budget targets, ensuring alignment with annual OP and SII commitments.
- Deliver aggressive cost-out and productivity objectives.
- Ensure full compliance with GE Vernova’s integrity, quality, and regulatory standards.
Key Performance Indicators (KPIs)
- On-Time Delivery (OTD): Meeting project milestones via high-performing suppliers.
- Cost-Out: Meeting or exceeding annual productivity and savings targets.
- Supplier Performance: Tracking quality, responsiveness, and capacity readiness.
- Budget Accuracy: Maintaining financial discipline across the portfolio.
- Compliance: Zero-defect adherence to regulatory and internal standards.
Qualifications
Required:
- Minimum of 5–6 years of experience in strategic sourcing or procurement.
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, Business, or equivalent professional experience.
- Proven leadership experience managing global or cross-functional teams.
- Strong commercial negotiation skills with a history of managing complex contracts.
- Exceptional analytical and financial acumen.
- Ability to travel up to 20% as required.
Preferred:
- Master’s degree or GE Vernova functional development program completion.
- Deep knowledge of Aeroderivative gas turbines and industrial repair processes.
- Demonstrated success in driving Lean/continuous improvement initiatives.
- Experience in rotating equipment or power generation services.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $125,000.00 and $208,300.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate’s experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
