POSITION SUMMARY:

The Family Entertainment Manager will lead the FEC operations and work closely with other departments in hiring, training, management, and staff scheduling. The Manager will work closely with the individual leaders of each program as well as other internal departments to successfully deliver an exceptional food & beverage and FEC experience for all our guests.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

• Manage the daily production, preparation, and presentation of all food for the organization's multiple concession's locations and special events to ensure a quality, consistent product is produced
• Manage ongoing facility schedules
• Hire, train, manage, and motivate staff
• Develop programming to target various markets ranging from corporate, group, adult/youth/family, and special interest groups
• Develop and manage program budgets and sales initiatives
• Generate sales through networking, building relationships, and creating strategic alliances Generate daily and monthly financial reports and inventory reports
• Effectively manage weekly food budget and labor costs for proficient quality control
• Evaluate health and safety practices and record information about inventory and health practices
• Effectively manage and inspect all cooler, freezer and dry storage areas and coordinate repairs as needed
• Create new menu and marketing ideas that reflect demand/trends
• Implement menu strategies that reflect event demographics and season
• Work with third-party partners to maximize revenue and attract events
• Oversees daily operations and promoting the activities within FEC
• Primary contact for all events and executor of bookings/contracts for the FEC
• FEC development and sales in-house and co-partnerships
• Complete other tasks and daily assignments as assigned by Management

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have proven track record of developing, marketing, and selling recreation and training programs
• Must have excellent interpersonal, problem solving, and negotiating skills
• Must be a team player
• Must have excellent verbal and written communication skills, computer skills, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, etc.
• Must be able to work flexible schedules including weekends, nights, and holidays
• Must possess current CPR/FIRST AID certifications or must be willing to obtain them within a specified period of time
• Ability to maintain focus in a high-volume, fast paced environment

WORKING CONDITIONS AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

• Must be able to lift 50 pounds waist high
• May be required to sit or stand for extended periods of time whether indoors or outdoors, and squat, stoop or bend
• Will be required to operate a computer
• Facility has intermittent noise
