Servicing Representative

Position Overview: 

Canopy Mortgage is seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Servicing Representative to join our Mortgage Servicing team. In this role, you will perform interim mortgage servicing functions while ensuring compliance with investor, agency, and company guidelines. The ideal candidate is highly organized, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service.  

Requirements

Essential Responsibilities:

• Generate servicing transfer letters, email them to borrowers, and notify each borrower of the servicing transfer by phone or text using the Slybroadcast system.
• Process insurance correspondence and coordinate mortgagee clause updates with insurance companies.  
• Answer incoming borrower calls, promptly return voicemail messages, and resolve customer inquiries professionally and efficiently.  
• Assist with the annual preparation and distribution of IRS Form 1098 statements and respond to borrower questions  
• Ensure compliance with all applicable investor, agency, regulatory, and company servicing requirements.  
• Perform other duties and special projects as assigned.  

Qualifications:

• Experience in mortgage loan servicing or related field preferred.  
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with exceptional attention to detail.  
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.  
• Outstanding customer service, interpersonal, and problem-solving abilities.  
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks, manage competing deadlines, and adapt to changing workflows in a fast-paced environment. 
• Self-motivated, dependable, and able to work independently as well as collaboratively within a team. 
• Strong computer skills and the ability to quickly learn mortgage servicing software and systems.  
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and ensuring compliance with industry regulations.
