Position Title: Senior Accountant

Working Location: Damansara Utama

Working Hours: 5 days (Mon – Fri, 9.00am – 6.00pm)

Salary Package: Basic salary up to RM7,000 + Flexi Benefits + Variable Bonus

Duration: Permanent Role

 

Key Responsibilities

Handle full set of accounts including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), and bank reconciliations

Prepare and maintain monthly financial statements, schedules, and supporting documents

Ensure timely completion of month-end and year-end closing activities

Maintain accurate accounting records in line with accounting standards and company policies

Support accounting activities across multiple entities (e.g. Singapore, Malaysia, Hong Kong)

Assist with group consolidation and intercompany reconciliation

Ensure consistency in accounting treatment and reporting across entities

Work with overseas teams to ensure timely submission of financial data

Prepare management reports, variance analysis, and financial summaries

Support budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes

Provide financial insights to support business decisions

Ensure compliance with statutory and regulatory requirements

Support internal and external audits, including preparation of audit schedules

Work with auditors, tax agents, and relevant authorities

Assist with tax filings, GST/VAT submissions, and statutory reporting

Support improvements in finance processes and systems

Ensure accuracy and reliability of financial data in accounting systems

Participate in finance-related system or process enhancement initiatives

Work closely with internal teams (e.g. HR, Operations, Sales) on finance matters

Provide ad hoc financial analysis and reports as required

Degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field

5–8 years of relevant accounting experience, including full set accounts

Experience in a multi-entity or regional environment is an advantage

Exposure to ERP systems (e.g. SAP, Oracle, NetSuite, etc.) is an advantage

Experience supporting audit and tax processes

Proficient in accounting systems and Microsoft Excel
