Job Title: Physical Therapist – Outpatient (Full-Time, Day Shift)Job Summary:The Physical Therapist is responsible for providing comprehensive physical therapy services, including patient assessment, treatment planning, and implementation of therapeutic interventions. This role involves educating patients and their families, communicating effectively with care teams, and demonstrating appropriate therapeutic techniques. The Physical Therapist may work independently without direct supervision while ensuring high standards of patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform patient assessments and develop individualized treatment plans
Implement therapeutic interventions based on patient needs and goals
Educate patients and families on treatment plans, exercises, and recovery strategies
Communicate effectively with interdisciplinary teams to support patient care
Demonstrate proper use of therapeutic techniques and equipment
Monitor patient progress and adjust care plans as necessary
Maintain accurate and timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards

Full-Time
Day Shift
Monday – Friday, 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM
Required Qualifications:
Graduation from an accredited Physical Therapy program
New Mexico Physical Therapist License (New Mexico Physical Therapy Board) upon hire
National Provider BLS certification from the American Heart Association upon hire
Preferred Qualifications:
Neonatal Therapist (CCH acute only): Degree from an accredited program
Minimum of 2 years of experience in rehabilitation
Preferred Skills:
Strong clinical assessment and treatment planning abilities
Excellent communication and patient education skills
Ability to work independently and within a team environment
