Position Summary
The organization is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Endocrinologist to join its expanding specialty care team in Shelton, Connecticut.

This full-time, permanent role offers an outpatient-focused schedule with a strong referral base from an established primary care network. The endocrinologist will diagnose and manage a broad spectrum of endocrine disorders while working closely with a multidisciplinary team that includes primary care physicians, dietitians, diabetes educators, and nursing staff.

Essential Responsibilities

  • Evaluate, diagnose, and manage endocrine and metabolic disorders including diabetes, thyroid conditions, adrenal disorders, osteoporosis, and hormonal imbalances

  • Provide comprehensive outpatient care including treatment planning and long-term disease management

  • Collaborate with primary care physicians and specialists to coordinate patient care

  • Work with diabetes educators and clinical staff to support patient education and disease management programs

  • Maintain accurate and timely documentation within the electronic medical record (EMR) system

  • Participate in clinical meetings, peer reviews, and quality improvement initiatives

  • Stay current with advancements in endocrinology and evidence-based treatment protocols


Qualifications

  • Education: MD or DO from an accredited medical school

  • Training: Completion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency and Endocrinology fellowship

  • Licensure: Board Certified/Board Eligible in Endocrinology; eligibility for Connecticut licensure

  • Experience: Prior clinical experience preferred; new graduates welcome to apply
