Lead Instructor

Job Title:Lead Classroom Instructor  Role Overview: Join us at Chase What Matters Music Program, where you can significantly impact students by introducing them to the creative and business aspects of the music industry. As a Lead Classroom Instructor, you will play a crucial role in guiding and mentoring students, helping them unlock their creative potential and understand the intricacies of the music business. Key Responsibilities:Develop and deliver engaging weekly lesson plans focused on various aspects of music.Conduct practical sessions on making beats, DJ mixing, and music production.Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their learning experience.Create a supportive and effective learning environment for children, youth, and young adults.Collaborate within a team to ensure a cohesive educational experience.Organize and lead music-related events or workshops, contributing to the broader community engagement.Requirements:Advanced proficiency in songwriting, music business understanding, DJing, and music production.Familiarity with Digital Audio Workstations such as Serato DJ, Serato Studio, or Logic Pro. (Training available if needed.)Background Qualifications:Mandatory clearances, including Child Abuse, Criminal, and FBI background checks.Demonstrated experience in performing, recording, or teaching music.A strong portfolio showcasing a variety of musical projects or collaborations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a proven ability to engage and inspire students.Experience in organizing and leading music-related events or workshops is highly desirable.Adaptability to work with diverse student groups and environments.Compensation:$100 per sessionOpportunities for professional development and potential pay increases based on performance.Schedule:Sessions last 1-2 hours during or after school hours (Possible times: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM or 4:30 PM - 5:30 PM).Instructors are expected to manage setup, actual class time, and breakdown.About Us:Chase What Matters Music Program is a dynamic music initiative designed to introduce youth to the myriad avenues within the music industry.
