We’re one of the UK’s fastest-growing logistics and freight forwarding companies with offices in China, USA, Netherlands & UK (HQ). We are continuing to grow our team with positions available at our Heywood HQ.Job Role:As an Account Manager you will be the first point of contact for a portfolio of customers. You will be responsible for the day-to-day management of your customer accounts, develop existing relationships and identifying new opportunities to ensure profitable growth. Key ResponsibilitiesManage your own portfolio of new and existing customers.Developing relationships and partnerships with new and existing customersServe as the main point of contact for customers.Meet targets for profitable sales volume and strategic objectives within assigned accounts.Meet assigned expectations for profitability.Achieve customer objectives defined by company management. Negotiate and successfully close sales opportunities to meet and exceed agreed sales targets within the target markets agreed by management.Establish productive, professional relationships with key personnel both internally and externally.Maintain and develop the computerised CRM system.Work within an existing supplier base.Respond and follow up any business enquiries via telephone, email, and personal visits when deemed necessary. Skills and RequirementsExcellent customer service and communication skills.Ability to build and maintain strong customer relationships.Detail driven and adherence to deadlines.Strong attention to detail and accuracy.Problem-solving and negotiation skills.Ability to work on own initiative, self-motivated and tenacious.Computer literate with knowledge of all Microsoft Office applications.Experience in customer facing role.Excellent team-worker with drive and enthusiasm.Familiarity with CRM software *desirable. Account Management experience *desirable.We offer a competitive salary, negotiable dependant on experienceFree parkingHealth insuranceLife assuranceFlexible working opportunities25 days holiday plus your birthday
