Oral Hygienist, Rondebosch, Cape Town

An established Orthodontic practice in the Southern Suburbs of Cape Town is seeking to recruit an experienced Oral Hygienist. The ideal candidate will be a motivated and professional individual who can deliver high quality patient care while working effectively within a specialist orthodontic team.

Roles and Responsibilities (but not limited to):

• Provide oral hygiene treatments and preventative care to patients
• Assist with orthodontic procedures and patient preparation
• Educate patients on oral hygiene and post treatment care
• Maintain accurate patient records and clinical notes
• Ensure adherence to infection control and sterilisation protocols
• Prepare and maintain clinical equipment and treatment areas
• Support the orthodontist with clinical procedures where required
• Maintain a clean, organised, and professional clinical environment
• Communicate effectively with patients regarding treatment plans and care

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Relevant Oral Hygienist qualification
• Current registration with the HPCSA
• 3 to 5 years' experience in a similar role
• Orthodontic practice experience preferred
• Proficient in English and Afrikaans
