Senior Sensor Systems Architect – Ground-Based Detection (f/m/d)

TYTAN Technologies

The PACE is fast. The expectations are high. The contribution matters. Working at TYTAN is more than a job, this is a mission. We push boundaries, think big, and hold ourselves to the highest standard. Our mission and values guide everything we do, and we're looking for people who are driven by ownership, embrace challenges, and are energized by meaningful work. If you're motivated by impact and thrive in dynamic environments, you'll fit right in.

At TYTAN, we aim to set a global standard in autonomous air defense with AI-driven, cost-efficient systems that counter unmanned aerial threats at scale. We protect people. We protect critical infrastructure. We protect European sovereignty.

We are seeking a Senior Sensor Systems Architect (Ground Sensors) to lead the development of advanced multi-sensor detection solutions for ground-based systems. This role will own the complete sensor architecture and concept, defining the optimal sensor suite to meet mission and operational requirements. The successful candidate will act as the technical authority for sensor technologies, driving decisions across Radar, RF, Acoustics, EO/IR Cameras, and other detection systems, while coordinating key internal and external stakeholders.

Your Roadmap to Make an Impact

• Own the end-to-end sensor strategy and architecture for ground-based detection system.

• Define and develop the overall sensor concept of operations (CONOPS) and sensor suite selection.

• Evaluate, trade-off, and integrate technologies including:

  • Radar

  • RF sensing and detection systems

  • Acoustic sensors

  • EO/IR cameras and imaging systems

  • Multi-sensor fusion solutions

• Establish system-level requirements, performance metrics, and detection capabilities.

• Drive sensor integration activities with software, AI/ML, autonomy, and platform engineering teams.

• Act as the primary technical interface for customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders.
