Description
POSITION: Head Start Maintenance Custodian
LOCATION: Adams, Allen, DeKalb, Huntington, Noble, and Whitley Counties
HOURS: Full-Time - 40 hours- full year
STARTING SALARY: $21.62/hour
JOB SUMMARY
Responsible for keeping internal and external areas of the building thoroughly cleaned and maintained.

JOB DUTIES:
Responsible for minor maintenance and repairs at all Head Start facilities.
Maintenance includes, but is not limited to:
- Small equipment and toy repair
- Floor stripping and waxing
- Carpet cleaning
- Vent and light fixture cleaning
- Window cleaning and maintenance

SKILLS AND QUALIFICATIONS:
- Two years of experience working in custodial work and/or building maintenance preferred.
- Ability to work with minimal supervision, self-motivated, attentive to detail, organized, cooperative, productive, reliable, flexible and dependable.
- Must become First Aid and CPR qualified within twelve (12) months of employment.
- When driving for Brightpoint, the employee must have a valid Indiana driver's license and must maintain minimum liability limits of $100,000/$300,000 on auto insurance.
