As a Security Officer Full Time Armed Patrol CPR Response in Los Angeles, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Armed Patrol Officer supporting a government location. Monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service and communication. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, staff, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control requirements, and emergency response activities at a government law-enforcement location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, parking areas, perimeter zones, and other designated areas to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and potential hazards.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and applicable procedures.
• Monitor access points and screen authorized personnel, visitors, and vehicles as directed; maintain awareness of restricted areas and report irregularities to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate activity and incident reports, maintain required logs, and communicate relevant information to supervisory staff and law-enforcement personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• An armed guard card or license is required.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Baton certification is preferred.
• Pepper spray certification is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
