Job Description:

Collaborate with innovative 3Mers around the world

As Packaging Sales Manager, you will play a key role for supervises professional and support sales team in the division of Industrial Specialties Division – Packaging Business. In this role you will be able to define and coordinates executions of sales/customer/market analysis, and reports on findings to guide business decisions. Implement sales operations programs around reporting, analytics, territory management, initiatives, SFDC, Commercial Management, etc.

The impact you will make in this role

• Provide coaching on key sales concepts and monitors sales activity and provide feedback to the sales representatives.
• Develop strong customer relationships and participate in negotiations.
• Analyze sales results and recommend course corrections based on SFDC
• Continuously drives sales support efficiencies, process improvements, develop new skills and competencies, etc.

Your Skills and Expertise

 To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications: 

 

• Bachelor´s degree in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, or a related field.
• Previous experience in sales leadership roles, including talent development, performance management, and execution of commercial strategies. A minimum of 7-10 years.
• English proficiency: conversational level.

Additional qualifications that could help you succeed even further in this role include: 

 

• Negotiates and counsels at an expert level with an audience which may not be knowledgeable in subject area. Demonstrates solid persuasion skills and manages differing interests and perspectives. Expert-level knowledge of sales management principles, market dynamics, and industry best practices, combined with a deep understanding of business operations and cross-functional collaboration. Demonstrate strong expertise in competitive landscapes, customer trends, and market opportunities, leveraging these insights to drive business growth, influence strategic decisions, and effectively develop and educate teams and stakeholders.

Work Location: This role follows an on-site working model, requiring the employee to work at least four days a week at the 3M office in Santa Fe, CDMX.

Travel: May include up to 80% domestic travel
