We are looking for an experienced IT Project Manager to lead the design phase of a high-profile Asset Data Improvement initiative.
The project will focus primarily on data and business design, bringing together a specialist IT/Data Architecture resources and a broad range of business SMEs. With a challenging delivery timeline and strong executive-level visibility, we are looking for someone who can quickly establish structure, coordinate multiple stakeholders and maintain momentum through the design phase.
- Lead and manage the project through the design phase, from mobilisation through to successful completion.
- Develop, maintain, and manage the project plan, including milestones, dependencies, risks, assumptions, and key deliverables.
- Coordinate activities across business, technical, and supplier stakeholders to ensure alignment and delivery against project objectives.
- Facilitate workshops to gather requirements, resolve dependencies, and drive informed design decisions.
- Establish and maintain clear ownership of actions, decisions, and deliverables across all workstreams.
- Proactively manage risks, issues, dependencies, and change requests, escalating where necessary to maintain project momentum.
- Provide clear, concise, and timely progress reporting to senior stakeholders, project boards, and executive sponsors.
- Maintain robust project governance, controls, and documentation while ensuring delivery progresses at pace.
- Monitor project performance against scope, schedule, budget, and quality objectives, taking corrective action where required.
- Ensure the design phase delivers a robust, agreed foundation for subsequent implementation, transition, and delivery activities.
- Drive collaboration and effective decision-making across multiple stakeholder groups to achieve project outcomes.
- Support planning and readiness activities to enable a smooth transition from design into execution and implementation phases.
