Job Summary:

Reviews and processes HR transactions in Human Capital Management system. Distributes associated information to Company leaders and government agencies. Performs employment screenings and verifications.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Processes partner hires, transfers, promotions, organizational changes, and terminations.
  • Maintains partner records to ensure data accuracy.
  • Fields inquires and responds to requests pertaining to partner data information.
  • Receives, opens, and distributes mail for partner data department.
  • Processes employment-related background checks through an external website and communicates results.
  • Receives, processes, and communicates partner drug test results.
  • Researches and responds to phone, email, and in-person inquiries from partners, vendors, and businesses. Takes appropriate measures to assist in resolving issues.

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Intermediate knowledge of Workday application.
  • Basic knowledge of Workday reporting applications.
  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office applications including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Basic mathematical skills.
  • Ability to maintain high levels of confidentiality regarding sensitive information.
  • Ability to maintain a high level of accuracy and productivity.
  • Ability to type quickly and accurately.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in written and verbal form.
  • Ability to learn new technology systems, methods and processes.
  • Ability to comprehend and interpret information.
  • Ability to research information, establish facts and draw valid conclusions.
  • Ability to reason, form concepts and recognize and solve problems.
  • Must be attentive to potential hazards and remedy or place appropriate warning signs or devices around or near the hazard as soon as is reasonably possible.
  • Must report any potential hazards that cannot be immediately remedied to a supervisor.

Education, Experience and Qualifications:

  • High school Diploma or GED required. 
  • One or more years of related experience; or an equivalent combination of experience and/or higher education required.
  • Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) certification required.
  • Partners must be 21 years of age or older to drive for Company business in accordance with the BGC Business Driver Policy.

Physical Demands:

  • Continuously required to use close vision, distance vision, depth perception or the ability to focus.
  • Continuously required to use fine finger movements (ex. sorting and typing).
  • Frequently required to talk and hear.
  • Frequently required to sit for long periods of time.
  • Occasionally required to use hands for reaching, touching or handling.
  • Occasionally required to push, pull, maneuver or lift objects up to 40 lbs.
  • Occasionally required to bend, kneel or squat.
  • Occasionally required to stand or walk.
  • Attendance at work is required.

Work Context and Environment:

  • Work is generally performed in an office environment.
  • Quiet to moderate noise level.
