Job Description

Job Description Summary
In this role the person will be the responsible for ensuring success of business critical application operations by supporting the day to day batch processing, analyzing and fixing the issues on priority while adhering to standards and SLA's. The person should be able to support High priority(P1/P2) incidents dynamically by providing timely resolution for the problem and handle other service requests. The person will also be responsible for handling minor enhancements, perform code reviews, handle application outages(planned/unplanned) and responsible for performance and maintenance of the highly critical business application. For this role we are looking for a highly motivated Individual who will be working as Sr. operations analysts working in technologies such as Sterling Integrator, Sterling Control Center, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Connect Direct and operating in DevSecOps Model.

The person should exhibit leadership qualities and demonstrate business acumen while working closely with business users to understand requirements and help team translate it into technical changes.

Required Skills

  • Sound knowledge in working with IBM Managed file transfer and monitoring tools –
    • Sterling Integrator, Sterling Control Center, Sterling File Gateway, Sterling Connect Direct - Linux and Windows & AWS file transfer.
  • Experience with different file transfer protocols SFTP, FTPS, HTTPS ,Connect Direct .
  • Basic experience, programming experience in Linux , Python
  • Basic understanding of AWS services such as EC2, S3, Lambda, IAM, and CloudWatch.
  • Willingness and ability to work in shifts, including weekends, to ensure continuous support and operational integrity of systems.
  • Good Communication Skills and able to independently handle tasks

Preferred Skills 

  • Familiarity with :- ServiceNow, CyberArk, Active Directory, Bitbucket , Release Automation
  • Should have basic understanding of IBM MQ architecture and messaging concepts (queues, topics, channels, etc.)..
  • Familiarity with IBM DataPower Gateway for application integration.
  • Good in troubleshooting and analyzing using Troubleshooting tools

Required Qualifications:

  •      Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent experience.
  •     2+ years of implementation, support, and/or design experience with Managed File Transfer services.
  •      Strong attention to detail and with ability to focus on quality and efficiency.
  •      Ability to communicate and articulate technical information across various organizational levels.
  •     Highly innovative problem solver with strong analytical and customer service abilities required.
  •      High reasoning aptitude and ability to quickly understand complex operating environments. 
  •      Strong thought leadership and motivation with the ability to work independently

·       Ability to work in a diverse multi-national and multi-vendor environment

 Preferred Qualification:

  •    Solid understanding of monitoring tools and monitoring techniques with focus on problem determination and prevention. 
  •      Ability to support working outside of normal business hours to provide after hour or "on-call" support when necessary to solve high profile incidents/problems.
