Job Description

As a Security Officer Driver Patrol in Perris, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As an unarmed Security Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine vehicle patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will interact professionally with employees, visitors, and drivers while providing clear communication and customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution facility, loading docks, trailer yards, parking areas, and perimeter to help identify unusual activity and report observations.
• Monitor access points and visitor, employee, and driver activity in accordance with site procedures.
• Document incidents, patrol activities, and security-related observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to site leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• At this site there are limited on-site facilities such as portable toilets and rustic guard shacks.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
