SUMMARY
The Laboratory Engineer plays a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and reliability of laboratory analyses. This position requires active participation in routine laboratory tasks and adherence to quality and safety protocols.
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
Perform laboratory analyses independently after training.
Conduct routine maintenance checks and calibrate laboratory instruments.
Carry out sampling in compliance with established procedures.
Assess the accuracy and reasonableness of analysis results, ensuring customer interests are safeguarded while maintaining laboratory quality standards.
Adhere to quality assurance protocols and safety regulations set by Saybolt and the Port of Gothenburg.
Participate in the general operation of the laboratory, contributing to continuous improvement and efficiency.
To always respect and protect company and client confidentiality.
Perform additional duties as assigned, demonstrating adaptability and a commitment to operational excellence.
QUALIFICATIONS
Degree in Chemistry or Technology.
Proficiency in Swedish and English, both spoken and written.
Possession of a valid B Driver’s License.
Competence in routine analytical procedures and the ability to perform laboratory tasks independently.
