Pay Transparency:
The pay range for this role is:
$59,200.00-$100,800.00/AnnualThe base pay actually offered to the successful candidate will take into account, without limitation, the candidate’s location, education, job-knowledge, skills, and experience in prior relevant roles.
Incentives may also be provided as part of Haemonetics’ employee compensation. For sales roles, employees will be eligible for sales incentive (i.e., commission) under the applicable plan terms. For non-sales roles, employees will be eligible for a discretionary annual bonus, the target amount of which varies based on the applicable role, to be governed by the applicable plan terms. Employees may also be eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive plan, with eligibility and target amount dependent on the role.
In addition to compensation, the Company offers a competitive suite of benefits to its employees, including without limitation, a 401(k) with up to a 6% employer match and no vesting period, an employee stock purchase plan, “flexible time off” for salaried employees and, for hourly employees, accrual of three to five weeks’ vacation annually (based on tenure), accrual of up to 64 hours (annually) of paid sick time, paid and/or floating holidays, parental leave, short- and long-term disability insurance, tuition reimbursement, and/or health and welfare benefits.

Job Details
Haemonetics is hiring a Manufacturing Engineer I (TEG) based out of its Center of Excellence in Clinton, PA! This position is responsible to develop and implement changes to product design and/or to the automation and manufacturing process to achieve significant quality, or cost improvements. Requires participation in new product development programs, working with other business units to identify design-for-manufacturability issues, ensuring these issues are addressed prior to release.
Primary Responsibilities:
Complete time studies, revise line layouts, and implement selective automation to improve efficiency.
Participate in manufacturing projects to ensure manufacturing success through cross-functional collaboration with other business units, coordination of overall project and budget management.
Act as project leader for manufacturing projects to ensure manufacturing success through cross-functional collaboration with other business units, coordination of overall project and budget management.
Ensure that production processes and systems as well as our product designs for both existing and new products produce the highest possible quality (consistency) and lowest possible cost.
Responsible for driving multiple improvement programs through to implementation and following-up on the results achieved, including: Quality Monitoring and Actions, Production Efficiency, Improve Assembly Methods, Document and Implement Approved Changes.
May be the project leader on Lean/Six Sigma initiatives and Cost Improvement Projects, 5S, Kaizen events.
Comply with all ISO 14001 requirements.
Comply with internal environmental management system requirements, as applicable.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Engineering or related field.
Related experience in a regulated manufacturing environment.
Excellent organization skills.
Experience performing root cause analysis.
Automated manufacturing experience.
Medical device manufacturing experience, preferred.
Previous intern experience, preferred.
