Job Description & Summary

IMPORTANT NOTE: This is not a job posting. This Expression of Interest is for students interested in being considered for PwC Canada's Indigenous Award & Mentorship Program. Applying to this posting does not constitute an application for employment with PwC Canada. To be considered for employment opportunities, candidates must also apply separately to an active PwC campus recruitment posting during the applicable recruitment cycle. Applications will go live as early as mid-August 2026.

Indigenous Award & Mentorship Program

At PwC Canada, we are committed to walking alongside First Nations, Inuit and Métis students as they explore future career pathways in business, accounting, consulting, tax, technology, deals and beyond.

This program is designed to recognize Indigenous students’ strengths, goals, community connections and lived experiences, while providing mentorship, professional learning, financial support and connection to Indigenous-specific communities across the firm.

We know that learning, leadership and experience can come from many places such as school, family, community, Nation-based work, volunteering, employment, cultural responsibilities and lived experience. We welcome students from a range of fields of study and pathways.

What the Program Offers

  • A financial award to support your education and career journey

  • Mentorship from PwC professionals who can help you learn about different career paths

  • Connection to the PwC Canada Indigenous Inclusion Network and Indigenous-specific supports across the firm

  • Opportunities to learn more about PwC’s lines of service, student roles and campus recruitment process

  • A culturally respectful space to ask questions and explore whether PwC feels like a place where you can grow and belong

Eligibility Criteria

  • Voluntarily self-identify as First Nations, Inuit or Métis. This information will be treated respectfully and used only to confirm eligibility for this Indigenous-specific program and to connect students with relevant supports.

  • Be eligible to work in Canada for the intended duration of any offer or contract offered

  • Successfully receive and accept an employment offer through a PwC Canada campus recruitment posting.

How PwC Supports Your Learning, Wellbeing and Belonging

At PwC Canada, we want Indigenous students to feel supported before, during and after the recruitment process. Through mentorship, flexible benefits, wellbeing supports, learning opportunities and connection to Indigenous communities across the firm, we aim to create an environment where First Nations, Inuit and Métis students can build relationships, ask questions, and explore career opportunities in a culturally respectful way.

  • Personalized Benefits & Wellbeing: Choose flexible health, dental, vision, life, and disability coverage. Access mental health support ($3,500 annually), virtual care, and up to a $750 lifestyle account for wellness, fitness, and personal growth.

  • Invest in Your Future: Boost your retirement savings with employer matching and take advantage of financial planning resources and banking programs.

  • Growth & Learning: Unlock coaching, mentoring, and clear career paths to help you reach your potential.

  • Time off to focus on what matters most: Enjoy up to 31 paid days off including summer and winter office closures, substitute a public holiday to observe your religious holiday, or take part in international remote work options to extend your time abroad,

  • Inclusive, Purpose-Driven Culture: Join a diverse, supportive team where you can bring your full self to work in a respectful environment where Indigenous identities, cultures and perspectives are acknowledged and valued

  • Build lifelong relationships, and help shape tomorrow.

We Recognize Many Pathways

You do not need to have everything figured out before expressing interest. We recognize that Indigenous students bring valuable knowledge, leadership and experience from many places, including community involvement, cultural responsibilities, part-time work, volunteering, family responsibilities, Nation-based initiatives, student leadership and lived experience.

If you are curious about a career at PwC but are not sure which role or line of service is the right fit, we encourage you to submit an Expression of Interest and connect with us. If you have questions or need support with the process, our campus recruitment team can help.

Application Process

Submit an Expression of Interest to connect with our campus recruitment team and learn more about the program

. We welcome students from a range of fields of study who are interested in building connections, developing professionally and exploring future opportunities with PwC.

Please submit your Expression of Interest by August 10, 2026. If you are unable to apply before the deadline, this posting will be made available again after the Fall 2026 campus recruitment cycle has concluded.

Reminder: If you wish to be considered for employment with PwC Canada, you must also apply separately to an active campus job posting for which you are eligible.

Successful candidates will then:

  • Be contacted by a PwC Canada Campus Recruiter in August to discuss career opportunities with PwC.

  • Meet with a PwC professional to gain insights into the line of service, the role, and what a career at PwC could look like.

  • Receive an invitation to participate in a national call with the PwC Canada Indigenous Inclusion Network.

We’re committed to providing accommodation throughout the application, interview, and employment process. If you require accommodation to be at your best, please let us know during the application process.

The use of artificial intelligence (AI) in recruiting is just getting started, so we know you have questions about how and why we use it. At certain points during our recruiting process, we rely on AI to improve your experience. This could be during resume review or curating personalized job recommendations, asking you clarifying questions via a chatbot or during our interview scheduling to improve your experience. Our use of AI helps ensure we combat bias by evaluating candidates equally and fairly, without seeing identity information, such as your name, or gender for example). AI also helps us better predict successful hires by reviewing all applicants for a role and the relationship between your skills, experience and likely success at PwC Canada. While AI supports parts of our recruitment process, final hiring decisions always involve human review. For more information about our use and protection of your data, please refer to our Privacy Policy (https://www.pwc.com/ca/en/privacy-policy.html).
